Visitors!

It is all set! Carter is going to meet his Nona, Aunt Chris, Uncle Adrian, and cousins Jamie and Annabel next month!!

We cannot wait and Carter is super excited :-) He did a little web cam session with them before but this will be the first time he gets to play with everyone!

It has been pretty quiet in the Galbraith household the last week or so. Richard has been working a lot and I've been shopping a lot...just the normal :-) Seriously, it is too cold to stay outside, so my mom friends and I end up walking the mall all day! The kids love it...and we get to eat yummy food and talk with other mommies.

I should also mention that our good friends, Davey and Carol, got married last Tuesday! They fooled everyone and snuck off to City Hall in NYC and got hitched! They had us over for dinner last night and told us the good news - Congrats, Davey and Carol!!!! :-)

Valentine's Day Photo Shoot

Carter got together with all of his lady friends for a little Valentine's Day photo shoot. And yes, his shirt says, "Babe Magnet".

We were a little silly about it though - We all hung out at the mall for a few hours then tried to get some pictures of them...but as you can tell they were all a little tired, cranky and ready for a nap....BUT still so cute!

10lbs

I am going to try on jeans at the mall today. This is going to be scary. Lets see how much 10lbs equals in clothing sizes. I am doing this to motivate myself to lose the weight before our South Carolina vacation.

The brownies that I made last night are not helping...lol. I hope this does.

2 in 1 day!

We had a big weekend! On top of Carter turning 3 months we had some firsts! Carter rolled for the first time! He has "fallen" from his tummy to back before but we didn't really consider it an offical roll...but on Saturday...he kept doing it and doing it....he loved it! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get him to repeat it today but we will keep working on it!

Also, Gram babysat for the first time! It took me 3 months to leave the C man with anyone else other than Richard BUT it went great! Richard and I had a great night out (and a few drinks) and Carter got to spend the night with his Gram! She even did his bath and bedtime...I am not sure why it took me so long to leave him....I think Gram does has SOME experience raising kids :-)

Oh, one more! Carter "watched" his first Superbowl! So, they say babies shouldn't watch tv...and I try to stop him from watching it but yikes....if he is anywhere near the tv he is just fixated on it! He loves him some tv!

Here is a cute one I took on our walk yesterday. We take soooo many pictures and I feel bad I don't put too many no here. I use my work laptop during the day and I can only load the pictures on the "real" computer downstairs. One day I'll get them on online...but for now, he is one :-)

A day late but....Happy 3 Months, Carter!!

Squeals!

And back I go...

So, Richard and I have made the decision that I will be returning to work. I go back March 9th. Luckily, there is a daycare, Just Children, in the same complex as my work. I will be able to walk over and see the C-man when ever I need...which may be 5 or 6 times a day at first. I am going to be such a mess leaving him...I get sad just thinking about it.

On a happier note...we have started to plan Carter's baptism! It will be March 8th at my Mom-Mom's church (Chews Methodist). I am looking forward for the whole family to be together with Carter...some of his cousins have still yet to meet him!

Only a few days until the little man is 3 months! He LOVES to smile and coo and especially laugh at Daddy!

And one more thing, Jerri is 27 years old today!! Happy Birthday, Old Lady!
