I normally don't order Carter's School pictures for a number of reasons...either he is crying, staring blankly (see the Santa picture) or just making a weird face. He is almost never smiling in them. But wow. How cute is this picture? I love the outfit, he is looking at the camera, smiling and well, just being the cutest thing ever.

I was hoping to use this picture for our Christmas Cards but the picture company doesn't give you the digital file...and their Christmas Cards are horribly ugly!

It's time again for Your Three Words!

Last weekend we made a yummy dinner of roast chicken, Kumara, veggies and fresh bread from the farmers market! It was soo soo yummmy....yet all Carter wanted to eat was the veggies. I am definitely glad he loves his veggies....but the veggies were the part of the meal that was from a bag - lol. You know, those $1 steam bags of veggies from Steamfresh!

21 Months

A little late posting this but wanted to make sure I start writing down what C is doing on a somewhat regular (hopefully monthly) basis.

Every month that goes by, C is reminding me that he really is no longer a baby - It is hard for me to accept...but can't deny it much longer!

Here are some of the things my mister is doing at 21 months:

- Says so many words that I can't even list them. He pretty much repeats everything we say and will normally start using them right away. Yesterday he over heard the hubby say, "Oh, my goodness!"....so of course Carter repeats it, we laught hysterically, and then Carter thinks he is doing something funny and repeats it for the next 10 minutes! I'll have to post the video later....

- Is saying 4-5 word sentences.

- Is a sports fanatic already! Loves to throw, kick, hit and try to catch any type of ball. He loves any sporting event that comes on tv....especially baseball, hockey and golf.

- He can count to 10

- Will sing the alphabet with us....obviously not getting every letter but mumbles then quite nice :)

- LOVES LOVES LOVES Elmo, Caillou and Mickey Mouse

- Has become an excellent sleeper. He sleeps from 7:30pm - 7:30am - we normally have to wake him to get ready for school. He has even slept until 9:30 2 times in the last month.....ahhh it was heaven!

- He loves water. The bath, the pool, the ocean....all of them. He is not scared a bit of the waves and will run right into them, he will jump right in the pool and "swim" on his tummy in the batch. My little fishy. :-)

- Not exactly sure how much he weighs but according to our home scale it is probably around 26lbs. And he is just about 36" tall. This makes for hard time finding clothes b/c he is tall skinny dude....we need to get 2T pants to fit his legs but then they fall off his little hips! I should really find a picture of Richard from when he was young....then you'll see C is going to be just like his Daddy - tall and skinny little kid!

"Father and Son" - This was taken last Sunday during a day trip to beach in Belmar. Carter was a Momma's boy for the first 20 months of his life....but just this last month, there are whole days where C definitely prefers his Daddy - It is just the cutest thing - ever. "Daddy, I uve you" - Carter
